WHAT TIME IS THE SERVICE?


We have one worship service that begins at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings. This is an uplifting time of worship and a powerful, relevant message from God's Word. It will also include Bible readings, prayer, and a short time for quiet personal reflection on the teaching.  On the last Sunday of every month, we also take the Lord's Supper together.  Our service usually concludes around 11:45 a.m.  If you want to come early, we have Growth Courses alongside Youth, Kids, and Adult "Ability" classes at 9:15 a.m.


WHERE IS FIRSTSF LOCATED?


We are located in the heart of San Francisco -- on the corner of Octavia Blvd. and Waller Street, just off Market Street at the 101 on/off ramp. Just look for the Dome. We have 2 parking lots available at 137 Haight Street and at 21 Octavia Boulevard. The main entrance for Sunday mornings is on Waller Street. There is an elevator at street level for handicap access. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?


On a Sunday morning we have everything from jeans and t-shirts to suits and dresses and everything in between. We believe God cares more about the heart than what you wear, so come dressed however you are comfortable. 


WHAT DOES FIRSTSF HAVE FOR MY KIDS?


We value children as an important part of our church body and they are welcome in our worship service. We also provide really fun and engaging opportunities for them to grow spiritually in developmentally appropriate programs. 


Visit our Kids page for details on Sunday classes as well as special events for children birth through 5th grade.  For this age group, you will have an opportunity to check-in your children at one of our kids registration booths.  If you have trouble finding these booths, don't hesitate to ask one of our greeters to direct you there.  


Visit our Youth page for information about our Sunday morning youth classes as well as fun events and discipleship opportunities for students 6th through 12th grade.  


HOW DOES FIRSTSF INCLUDE INDIVIDUALS/FAMILIES AFFECTED BY DISABILITY?


We welcome people affected by disability in all of our activities. There is handicap access through an elevator off of Waller St. as well as a ramp from the lower parking lot. We have New Testaments in Braille and assistive listening headphones available at our services. HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER OF FIRSTSF?


We ask everyone desiring membership to participate in our Newcomers Membership Class which is offered quarterly. This class covers our mission, values, history, and ways to get involved at FirstSF.
